The ManageCoachLead model combines our taxonomy of managerial activities with the ALAMO performance model.  

The ManageCoachLead upward feedback instrument allows Direct Reports to assist their "boss" in becoming a better Manager, Coach, and Leader.  The instrument is built around the four primary dimensions in the model:

  • Check In
  • Direct
  • Coach
  • Develop

Two additional dimensions measure key factors that provide an indication of when the Manager is becoming a Leader:

  • Trusts (Respects)
  • Trusted (Competent, Reliable)
